MOL PLUS invests in Sendy to scale up fulfillment services across the continent.

Sendy, an African fulfillment and logistics company, has received funding from MOL PLUS Co., Ltd., Mitsui O.S.K. Lines’ Corporate Venture Capital (MOL).
MOL PLUS has joined Sendy’s existing partners to help expand fulfillment services in Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, and Cote d’Ivoire as part of an unannounced funding round. With a variety of fulfillment options, Sendy makes it simple for businesses of all sizes to ship and receive their products (Direct Fulfillment, Smart Fulfillment, in One Fulfillment).

Direct fulfillment is a useful service for businesses that need to ship items directly to customers. While All in One Fulfillment simplifies the process of picking, packing, storing, and shipping orders for e-commerce and B2B businesses, Smart Fulfillment enables these businesses to do so more efficiently.
The potential for improving supply chains and logistics inefficiencies in Africa is significant. We anticipate that our collaboration with MOL PLUS and MOL Logistics Co., Ltd. (MOL Logistics) will have a significant impact on the development of Sendy and its fulfillment network, as well as the growth and expansion of the merchants we serve, by enabling us to provide them with more value-added services and solutions. We have decided to partner with MOL Logistics, which has extensive experience in logistics and international shipping, to expand our offerings and client base. Mesh Alloys, Sendy’s CEO and Co-Founder put it best: “

The merger of Sendy and MOL creates exciting opportunities for synergies that will streamline logistics for businesses. MOL has partnered with Sendy to expand its mid- and last-mile offerings to better serve its customers in the shipping and freight industries.
The company’s goal on the continent is to expand its fulfillment operations by making it easier for businesses of all sizes to transport their goods, which is consistent with its primary goal of facilitating trade and thus empowering individuals and organizations.
